The Professional Myotherapists of Australia (PMA) represent students and practitioners who are qualified
with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Myotherapy) from Southern School of Natural Therapies. The PMA was developed to represent students and graduates of this course which originated in 2003. The PMA strive to improve
understanding of Myotherapy in the community, and support their members in the following ways:

• Providing insurance for practicing Myotherapists
• Has an association with HSU (Health Services Union) and encourage practitioners and students to join
• Members are able to gain provider numbers with a variety of private health insurers so that their patients are able to claim Myotherapy treatments
• Provide graduates with support for getting their careers started
